A rising star to watch! Discover one of the leading figures of a bold new generation of winemakers, crafting wines of remarkable ripeness and elegance.
At just 26 years old, Jonas Seckinger has emerged as a rising force in the Palatinate. Inspired by the precision and low-alcohol style of Mosel wines, deeply influenced by Alsace, and fascinated by the age-worthy wines of Domaine Zind-Humbrecht, he has mastered the art of excellence. From his base in Niederkirchen, Rhineland, he is shaping wines of striking purity and definition.
A Geisenheim University graduate (class of 2016), Seckinger has established himself on 12 hectares of prime hillside and terrace vineyards. His wines, fermented spontaneously and aged in large wooden casks, perfectly embody the fresh, terroir-driven style of the Palatinate.
