The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Highly sought-after, Domaine Agisson has quickly become one of the Loire Valley’s rising stars in just a few vintages. Awarded one star in the French wine guide RVF, this confidential 2.5-hectare estate has swiftly evolved from a promising newcomer to an undisputed benchmark, drawing inspiration from the region’s greatest talents.

Having honed his skills at Alphonse Mellot in Sancerre and Dagueneau in Pouilly-Fumé, Jean-Philippe Agisson now works the chalky and flinty soils of these prestigious terroirs with remarkable precision. Committed to organic and biodynamic farming, his dedication to the vineyard is nothing short of extraordinary.
Wine With remarkable precision and depth, the 2022 White Sancerre Équilibre delivers a ripe, vibrant, and beautifully textured expression of Sauvignon Blanc. Its pure, mineral-driven character showcases the full power of its limestone terroir, striking the perfect balance between freshness and concentration. A true gastronomic wine, it pairs beautifully with delicate fish dishes or gratinéed langoustines. Rated 93/100 by the French wine guide RVF. In magnum format, its aging potential is significantly enhanced, ensuring an even more refined and extended drinking experience.
Vinification Hand harvested, long pressing, cold static settling, aged for 12 months in truncated wooden vats, demi-muids and cigars.

The estate is run using organic farming methods, but is not certified.
