The estate and the wine |
The jewel of Umbria, Castello della Sala is owned by the Antinori family, and as such benefits from the same care and quality of ageing. At an altitude of almost 400 meters, the vines on limestone bedrock produce famous cuvées, including magnificent whites, pure and mineral, blending a wide variety of grape varieties. This Chardonnay and Grechetto cuvée is a wonderful illustration of the work done here and the excellence of the estate. |

The 2022 white IGT Umbria Cervaro della Sala is an original blend of chardonnay (over 90%) and grechetto. A white with smoky accents and white flowers, with a tonic, mineral character, perfectly maintained by Antinori's mastery of vinification and ageing in wood. Vibrant, fresh and gourmet, this complex white goes perfectly with cooked fish or poultry with cream sauce. |
