Bordering on the 1er cru, on one of the village's finest climats, the 2021 red Pommard Les Vaumuriens is an enviable wine. Luxuriously matured, with a striking woodiness that is still present at this stage, it opens with milky, toasty notes that will fade with age. On the palate, a beautiful version of Pinot with morello cherry and cherry brandy, a sign of the grape's ripeness, the whole remaining balanced, finely drawn and not very extracted. |
