The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A true Alsace legend and a 3-star estate in the French wine guide RVF, Domaine Albert Boxler is the holy grail for wine lovers. Meticulous and uncompromising, this extraordinary producer continues to elevate the reputation of Alsace’s finest terroirs, crafting wines that deliver pure, intense emotion.

In his relentless pursuit of perfect balance, Jean Boxler champions a style of absolute purity—each wine in this breathtaking lineup tells its own story with remarkable depth and nuance.

We’ve been lifelong admirers, devoted to this discreet yet passionate estate. With just under 20 hectares, nearly half of them classified as Grand Cru, these stunning, hand-tended vineyards on steep slopes produce wines of unmatched precision and elegance.
Wine True to the estate’s signature style, the 2020 Crémant d’Alsace Brut White is all about finesse and precision. Its fine, persistent bubbles carry elegant white fruit aromas, lifted by a delicate hint of brioche and a bright, refreshing character. On the palate, it’s supple and finely balanced, with a touch of crisp acidity, subtle bitters, and the perfect level of maturity from the 2020 vintage. This Crémant is made for the table—perfect alongside lake fish, tarte flambée, or even a mildly aged Munster cheese. A true pleasure to drink, where the bubbles bring just the right amount of tension and an irresistibly refreshing feel. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested. Long, gentle pressing to preserve the aromas. Cold settling.
