The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Awarded 2 stars in the RVF Guide, Daniel Bouland is recognized as one of the leading winemakers in Beaujolais, yet his renown extends far beyond his region. Celebrated for his precisely crafted wines of great maturity, he produces in organic cultivation exemplars of complexity and density that delight us fully each year.
Wine The 2022 red Morgon Les Delys is yet another stunning achievement, standing out impressively within its appellation. With a bouquet rich in red and stone fruits, complemented by vineyard peach, it showcases an emphasis on freshness and finesse. The palate is flavorful, underscored by a strong mineral presence, offering a vivid, generous fruit profile encased in silky tannins. Daniel Bouland sticks to the essentials: pure expression of terroir and Gamay, without reliance on oak or extravagance. This cuvée is delightfully approachable yet promises to age gracefully for a decade. Rated 95/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Hand-harvested from a one-hectare vineyard planted in 1978, 1985 and 1986; very traditional vinification, aged in oak tuns.
