The estate and the wine |
The Dampt brothers - Emmanuel and Éric - moved into the Chablis region over thirty years ago to forge their own distinctive wines in the 3 valleys of the Yonne, Serein and Armançon. Their wide range of terroirs delivers wines of precision and accuracy, with impressive consistency.
One of Burgundy's finest family-run estates, the domaine has been our new partner since last year. |

Rooted in the limestone soils of the Chablis region, and benefiting from the best exposure, the 2022 red Chevalier d'Eon Burgundy delivers a ripe, fresh pinot, between morello cherry and cherry, soberly aged. Neither lacking in consistency nor generosity in this opulent vintage, it is full-bodied, fleshy and stylish, with great finesse and, above all, freshness at all times. Drink over 2 years, decanting beforehand. |
