The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Domaine Henri Rebourseau is a cornerstone of Gevrey-Chambertin, known for its remarkable vineyard holdings, including nearly all the Grands Crus in the appellation. Long celebrated for wines that honor Burgundian tradition with precise and balanced flavors, it holds a special place among enthusiasts.

Since its acquisition by the Bouygues family five years ago, the estate has undergone a significant transformation. With a shift to biodynamic viticulture, a state-of-the-art gravity-fed winery, and refined aging techniques, the winemaking has reached new levels of precision and depth. These changes have firmly established Domaine Henri Rebourseau as one of Burgundy’s elite estates, on par with the region’s most iconic names.
Wine Crafted from the oldest vines in the parcel, some nearing a century in age, the 2021 Red Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru Vieilles Vigne offers an added layer of complexity, depth, and refinement. Aromas of spice and violet enhance its already impressive profile. Like its counterpart from Vougeot, this wine’s structure and character call for extended aging, making it an exceptional choice for special occasions—pair it with truffle-stuffed guinea fowl for a truly memorable experience.
Vinification Harvested by hand. Area of 2.21 ha, planted in 1927, 1968, 1973, 1977, 1990, 2011. 100% de-stemmed, vinification in open stainless steel vats. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
