More than convincing, the 2016 white Arbois Vin Jaune is a stellar example of success and completeness in this style of wine aged under a veil. From old vines planted on powerful marl soils, this accomplished wine expresses the rich, biscuit-like and spicy character of the grape variety. It offers a profusion of flavors such as lemon, walnut, almond, green apple, and cumin-like spices. Supported by a superb acidic structure, it bursts with power and length, marked by intense freshness and rich texture. Rated 95/100 by RVF. |
