The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion, Château Figeac embodies the pinnacle of elegance and refinement from the western plateau shared with Pomerol. Awarded the top 4-star rating by RVF, Figeac continues to excel, reaching its fullest expression in warm vintages and revealing its true character after a decade or more of aging.

Unique in both terroir and style, Figeac has a distinctive charm, driven by its uncommon blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot in equal parts, crafting wines of exceptional pedigree that only grow more distinguished with time.
Wine With a disarming authenticity, the 2019 Château Figeac Saint-Emilion Grand Cru reveals a powerful yet refined structure, featuring noble, silky tannins and a strikingly dense, vibrant character. Radiant aromas of peony, Sichuan pepper, and blackcurrant, along with the hallmark hint of graphite, unfold seamlessly, all elevated by a carefully executed aging process. This Figeac is brilliant, precise, and intensely smooth, shaped by the captivating rigor of Cabernet and the sensuality of Merlot. Rated 98/100 by RVF, 97/100 by Parker, and 99/100 by Bettane+Desseauve. 'A Figeac that stands at the pinnacle not only of Saint-Emilion but of Bordeaux’s classified growths!' says Michel Bettane.
Vinification Hand harvested. Gentle vinification with an extraction program adapted to the maturity of each grape variety. Aged for 17 months 100% in new French oak barrels.
