A jewel of the southern Rhône Valley and awarded 2 stars in the RVF Guide, Domaine de la Janasse is a highly sought-after estate renowned for its exceptional consistency. The Sabon family tends it with passion, crafting remarkable wines across both Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône.
Here, excellence is the standard. Every cuvée reflects meticulous care in the vineyard and cellar, supported by an exceptional patchwork of parcels and a remarkable heritage of vines.
With perfectly achieved ripeness, the wines offer power, finesse, and impressive freshness. They are a favorite of Olivier Poussier, Best Sommelier in the World and a member of our Tasting Committee! |

With 20% Mourvèdre in the blend, the 2021 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes boldly asserts its southern character. The Mourvèdre adds a distinct touch of garrigue and spices, enhancing the wine’s complexity. While still tightly wound, its tannins coat the palate with finesse, avoiding any harshness. This is a wine built for long aging, offering remarkable balance and charm. Rated 95/100 by RVF. |
