For over a decade, he has been transforming Mas de Mancuso, located south of Zaragoza, by revitalizing Aragón’s native grape varieties and elevating the region to new heights. This is Grenache at its finest—infused, delicate, and full of charm. The 2021 Red Cutio Garnacha-Cariñena is sourced from 60-year-old, high-altitude vines on the region’s coolest exposures. Paired with Carignan, this Grenache ranks among the region's best, offering notes of blackcurrant cream, sugared strawberry, and a light yet beautifully structured tannic frame. Elegant, approachable, and wonderfully drinkable now, it’s best served slightly chilled. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee. |
