The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine This October, we're proud to support a cause close to our hearts.

Château Joanin Bécot, a top Bordeaux producer, and Ventealapropriete have joined forces for a charity sale to help fund the fight against breast cancer, a cause that affects millions of lives every year.
Wine The 2019 Joanin Bécot, from the limestone plateau near Saint-Emilion, immediately impresses with its ripe dark fruit aromas, accented by a touch of spice and well-integrated oak. On the palate, it’s both powerful and elegant, with fine tannins and a perfect balance of fruit and freshness. The long, gently smoky finish makes it a wine to enjoy now or to cellar for a few more years. Rated 93/100 by Parker.
Vinification Hand-harvested, vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with manual punch-downs. The maceration lasts around 35 days, with malolactic fermentation done in tanks. The wine is aged in a mix of new oak barrels for 50% of the harvest, one-year-old barrels for 10%, stainless steel tanks for 25%, and amphorae for the remaining 15%.
