The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Awarded 2 stars by the French wine guide RVF, Domaine Christian Moreau is one of Chablis’ top names, shaping some of the region’s purest expressions. With a strong foothold in the Grand Cru vineyards, this prestigious estate has been on a steady rise. The reasons are clear: organic farming, increasingly precise aging, and an unwavering commitment to quality have pushed it to the highest level.

Now led by Fabien Moreau, the wines have gained even more finesse and precision. The oak is used sparingly, allowing the wine’s bright acidity and crisp minerality to shine while bringing just enough depth and texture. This is a benchmark estate, firmly established among Chablis’ finest.
Wine Sourced from the Les Pargues vineyard, located near the Premier Cru sites of Vaillons and Montmains, the 2022 White Chablis Les Pargues comes from 70-year-old vines and offers a perfect introduction to both this terroir and the estate’s style. Vinified and aged without oak, this Chardonnay is all about purity and freshness, showcasing the hallmark qualities of great Chablis—lively tension balanced by a smooth, seamless texture. Expect ripe, juicy fruit with crisp precision and a vibrant mineral edge. A village-level Chablis of exceptional quality, built to evolve beautifully over the next decade.
Vinification Hand harvested.

Certified organic wine. AB Ecocert certification since the 2013 vintage.
