The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A historic name in our selections, Montfaucon stands as a key figure in the southern Rhône Valley. It was only natural to partner with this exceptional talent to create a bespoke Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

This custom cuvée was crafted under the guidance of Olivier Poussier, Best Sommelier in the World and a member of our Selection Committee. We are proud to be the first to collaborate with Rodolphe and Léon de Pins to bring you this remarkable wine.

A Châteauneuf-du-Pape offered at an exceptionally accessible price, yet uncompromising in its pursuit of excellence. Sourced from superb terroirs of rolled pebbles and clay, on a parcel rich in thriving biodiversity, it is a true testament to the region’s greatness.
Wine The 2021 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a beautifully balanced blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre, sourced from 50-year-old vines and aged for one year in 228-litre Burgundy barrels, with no new oak. Enhanced by the freshness of the vintage, it delivers a harmonious interplay of delicate spice, cherry liqueur, floral notes, and the richness of perfectly ripened flavours, all woven into a fine, intense, and elegant structure. A delightful wine to enjoy now, with the balance to age gracefully. Awarded 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested from 50-year-old vines. Vinification in concrete vats. Matured for 12 months in Burgundy barrels.
