The estate and the wine |
A distinguished family estate in Avize, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs, Michel Gonet is a benchmark for precision-crafted Champagne, where Chardonnay reigns supreme.
With Les 3 Terroirs, the estate achieves something truly exceptional—an extra-brut Champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay, aged for a minimum of four years on lees. The result is a wine of remarkable purity and finesse, with a texture that rivals the finest names in Champagne. |

The 2019 Les 3 Terroirs Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne comes from the vineyards of Vindey, Montgueux, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Made entirely from Chardonnay, it displays remarkable finesse, with subtle notes of toasted bread, cake, and citrus. Its depth and maturity are beautifully framed by a chalky, mineral character. The fine, creamy bubbles enhance its refined texture, delivering a savoury yet silky profile. An outstanding, versatile Champagne to enjoy on any occasion. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee. |
