With supreme elegance, the 2001 red Viña Tondonia Rioja Gran Reserva defies its age... In a blind tasting, one could easily mistake it for being a decade younger. The harmony it exudes, the nuances of its aromas, and its great subtlety all contribute to its astonishing youthfulness. Tempranillo and Grenache come together in unison, unified by unique aging in old vats over 150 years old, and a maturation of more than 10 years in barrels.
