The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Famous for its Clos des Goisses—rated 3 stars in the Revue du Vin de France (RVF) Guide, a distinction held by only eight Champagne houses—Philipponnat is a legendary name in Champagne, where every detail is crafted to perfection. Drawing on the finest terroirs of Mareuil and Aÿ, their exceptional single-vineyard cuvées showcase the essence of Pinot Noir-driven, vinous Champagne from the Marne Valley.

Ranked among the Top 5 most prestigious Champagne houses and named "Brand of the Year" by the Revue du Vin de France, the house has experienced unmatched growth over the past 20 years, driven by the visionary decisions of its president, Charles Philipponnat.
Wine Crafted primarily from Pinot Noir and based on the 2020 harvest, the Royale Réserve Non Dosé Champagne showcases fine, persistent bubbles with an energetic finesse. The nose is irresistibly inviting, offering black grape aromas subtly enhanced by a touch of oak, adding layers of complexity. Chardonnay brings a refreshing clarity, perfectly balancing the wine’s profile. On the palate, it unfolds with a harmonious blend of richness and precision, delivering depth, texture, and exceptional balance. Despite its zero dosage, this cuvée retains remarkable structure and vinous character. Ideal as an aperitif—paired with salmon roe toasts or sea bream ceviche—it also shines at the table with sauced fish dishes or delicate white meats.
Vinification Hand-harvested. Blended from the 2020 harvest with 39% reserve wines aged in wood. Bottled in May 2021. Aged on lees in cellars for approximately 3 years. Disgorgement March 2024.

Zero dosage.
