At Ventealapropriété, we have always liked to introduce you to vintages that have reached their peak of maturity. (Re)discover today the "2016", one of the greatest vintages of the decade!
At its inception, the 2016 vintage was already described as grandiose. A few years later, having reached a beautiful evolution, it displays a high class character, destined for long aging.
This vintage required patience and kept the suspense until the end before revealing its magnificence! A vintage of elegance and balance, with ripe tannins and fresh and dynamic textures. |

The usual mellowness of the vintage bursts forth in the 2016 Réserve de la Comtesse, carried by a deep, agile texture. Close to its prime, made from a majority Cabernet Sauvignon, it unfolds beautiful cherry, black currant and dark berry notes, with flavors of rose, black tea, pepper and chocolate. A very elegant and intense wine, with silky tannins, that combines freshness and density with a spicy finish that makes it absolutely delicious. On this vintage bordering on perfection, the second wine is boosted by its formidable balance...A wine destined to fame! |
