The estate and the wine |

|
Right next door to Pétrus, Château Trotanoy is one of the crown jewels of the Jean-Pierre Moueix estates.
In 2024, the wine is true to its identity: rich, structured Merlot with a velvety texture and real depth. There’s elegance and energy here, with that signature tension and refined grain that make Trotanoy so special. It’s full of character and presence—Olivier Poussier rated it 93/100.
From just 7.2 hectares of black clay and gravel soils, this is classic Pomerol: power, silk, and mineral drive, all in one. Like the best vintages from this terroir, it will reward patience—this is a wine that unfolds slowly over time.
The only downside? Quantities are seriously limited. |
