bright and lively, this cuvée reveals a mineral, chalky profile, lifted by a subtle hint of toast. The finish is long and saline, carried by a gentle grapefruit bitterness that adds a final touch of finesse. |

Currently undergoing a remarkable transformation, Château Rieussec—an historic Premier Cru Classé from the village of Fargues—is embracing a bold new chapter. Under fresh leadership and backed by the unwavering support of the Rothschild family’s Lafite branch, the estate is poised for a striking revival. |

From a truly exceptional terroir—sharing some of the finest vineyard exposures with its famed neighbour Yquem—this dry white stands out for its crystal-clear purity and remarkable aromatic precision, a rarity in the region. Modern, vibrant, and full of character, the R de Rieussec breaks the mould of classic Bordeaux whites. Its taut freshness, silky texture, and saline finish call to mind the great Chenins of the Loire Valley, while confidently asserting its own unique identity. A brilliant balancing act—and a true achievement. |

Vinification for a large part of the harvest of the Sémillon in oak barrels and one wine, and for the Sauvignon in stainless steel vats at low temperature and in barrels of one wine for a small part. Ageing on lees for 6 months with regular stirring of the lees for the wine vinified in barrels. Blend of the two grape varieties at the end of the ageing process. |
