One of the most exciting names emerging from the Loire Valley, Sébastien Brunet is quickly gaining recognition — and plenty of attention. Once again singled out as a favourite by Best Sommelier in the World Olivier Poussier, a member of our Selection Committee, his reputation continues to soar.
Quiet and exacting in his craft, Brunet has earned a star in the Revue du Vin de France, a benchmark publication for French wine enthusiasts. He works organically, producing White wines that are both vibrant and full of depth. From his vineyards in Vouvray, rooted in limestone and flint soils, he creates a brilliant range of Chenin Blancs that capture the subtle nuances of each plot with remarkable clarity and elegance. |

The 2023 Vouvray Renaissance White is a beautiful expression of Chenin Blanc, made from vines over 50 years old. It’s fresh, refined, and remarkably elegant — a light, precise wine with a delicate texture and a lovely chalky finish. The kind of White that’s easy to enjoy, especially as an apéritif, and an ideal match for shellfish or seafood. |
