Wine The 2022 White Vézelay La Châtelaine evokes the chalky, iodized, and incisive character of a Chablis style. With fragrances of orchard fruits like pear and apple, complemented by a subtle mineral touch, one can sense the limestone and the shell-like imprint. This white wine is invigorating and full of character, being simultaneously concentrated, mature, sharp, and mineral-driven. Highly alluring and universally appealing, it's set to soon develop honeyed notes and already pairs perfectly with dry cheese or marinated fish. What a delight!
Vinification Hand-harvested, whole grapes pneumatically pressed.
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, aged on lees for 8-10 months.
