The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Bringing true distinction to the Givry appellation, Domaine Tatraux has long stood out as one of the most respected producers in the Côte Chalonnaise.

Combining the pure expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with remarkably fair pricing, the estate delivers honest, generous wines—unpretentious and beautifully balanced.
Wine Displaying the vibrant brilliance of Pinot Noir, the 2023 Red Givry 1er Cru Vieilles Vignes is a fresh, pure wine of impressive finesse and intensity. On the nose, it opens with ripe raspberry and a subtle, restrained touch of oak. The palate is refined and well-textured, with fine-grained tannins and good structure. This is classic Burgundy at its most charming—just the kind of expression we love from a particularly successful 2023 vintage. Pure pleasure in a glass! Enjoy it now or over the next six years. A favorite of the Selection Committee, rated 93/100.
Vinification Hand harvested. 100% destemmed grapes, crushed and placed in vats, cold maceration for 3 to 4 days followed by alcoholic fermentation. Aged for 11 months in oak barrels, 1/3 new, 1/3 one wine and 1/3 two wines.
