The estate and the wine |
The undisputed stronghold of white wines, the Entre-deux-Mers region offers superb value for money. This little-known region, wedged between the banks of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, boasts one of the finest terroirs of asteriated limestone in the Gironde. These white stones are so renowned that they were even used in the construction of the city of Saint-Emilion!
Château Turcaud has made a specialty of these fresh, chiselled whites, and has become one of the spearheads of the appellation, prized for its elegant, totally harmonious wines. |

A typical Sauvignon Blanc, with notes of wisteria and citrus, the 2023 white Entre-deux-Mers is expressive, fresh and pure. Straightforward and precise on the palate, the juice is full of exotic flavors, particularly passion fruit. This is a very classic wine of the appellation, chiselled and fruity, ideal with fatty fish, seafood or oysters. Rated 92/100 by the Committee. |
