The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A prominent figure in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Raymond Usseglio estate is one of the most sought-after in the region. Producing wines with dazzling complexity and balance, it stands out from its peers, as few can match its consistency and elegance.

Highly praised by the Parker Guide, where it is a perennial favorite, the estate's wines are notoriously hard to come by. New vintages are eagerly snapped up as soon as they are released.
Wine Vinified and aged without any oak influence, the 2023 White Châteauneuf-du-Pape captures the essence of its terroir and the five grape varieties that comprise it: Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, with a touch of Bourboulenc and Picardan. Completely Mediterranean in character, it opens with a fresh nose featuring smoky notes, flint, and a hint of floral aroma. The palate reveals a rich fruitiness while maintaining great purity and brightness in a refined, delicate, and very fresh style. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested. Partial de-stemming, traditional vinification. Aged in stainless steel vats for 6 months on lees.
