Taken over by Davis Weszeli in 2011, this historic estate in Lower Austria, northwest of Vienna, perfectly captures the essence of its unique terroirs. From slate and granite to limestone and sandy soils rich in organic matter, every element shines through.
The estate’s Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners reflect this diversity with subtle precision—delicate whites bursting with vitality and freshness, matured on lees in tanks or wooden casks. |

A Selection Committee favourite, rated 93/100, the 2018 Kamptal Ries Seeberg Riesling comes from mica-schist soils, a former desert with perfect southern exposure. At 300 metres in altitude, this well-ventilated site shapes a powerful yet elegant white with great aging potential.
