The estate and the wine With three stars in the RVF Guide and a reputation that’s hard to rival, Yves Canarelli oversees some of Corsica’s most exceptional terroirs. Since his first vintage in 1997, he’s been a relentless perfectionist, constantly pushing boundaries. Farming nearly 40 hectares biodynamically across Figari and Bonifacio, he focuses on native grape varieties, selecting those that best express the character of the land.

Canarelli’s wines are among the most stunning grand crus of the Mediterranean, offering a unique combination of freshness and a distinct saline edge. These are benchmark Corsican wines that continue to set the standard for the region.
Wine The 2023 White Amphora is a 100% Vermentinu from granite-rich parcels, vinified in clay amphorae without added sulphur. To preserve the purity of the grape, there’s no skin maceration, allowing its natural character to shine. The nose offers delicate notes of syrupy pear, enhanced by the subtle influence of the lees. On the palate, it’s remarkably smooth and balanced, with a clean, precise finish. This is a versatile wine, perfect with grilled fish, and it will develop beautifully over the next three to five years. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand-harvested from granite plots, vinified in clay amphora for 1 month and aged for one month in amphora. No added sulphur, fining or filtration.
