Wine:
Produced exclusively from 3 plots of old vines chosen from the heart of the Grand Cru terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger, this wine is the grail of the House! The minerality of the soils is fully expressed in this vintage champagne, the fruit of a masterful blend and a minimum of 6 years' ageing on the lees. A special wine worthy of the greatest names in Champagne.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Grapes come exclusively from 3 old vines of massal selection, aged between 40 and 70 years, on the "Chétillon" terroir in the classified Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil sur Oger. Separate vinification in small, temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. Partial malolactic fermentation. Aged for a minimum of 6 years on lees before disgorging. Dosage: 4 g/l (Extra-Brut).
One of the greatest Chardonnay stylists of all time, Rodolphe Péters at Champagne Pierre Péters produces aesthetic wines of the utmost rigor, with the regularity of a metronome.
We're unconditional fans of this uncompromising style, which makes the chalk of Champagne resonate like never before! Each wine we taste is an enormous slap in the face, displaying purity, elegance and an insolent saline expression.
The fabulous heritage of vines - mainly in the Grand Cru of Mesnil-sur-Oger - and exemplary vinifications offer wine lovers the quintessence of this terroir. And to be part of this very select circle is becoming increasingly delicate, as this address remains as much prized as it is discreet, exporting the bulk of its wines.
