RSRV - Champagne Grand Cru - Blanc de Noirs - Blanc - 2012

Wine:

RSRV Blanc de Noirs 2012 is made from Pinot Noir from Verzenay, a Grand Cru located in the northern part of the Montagne de Reims. The distinctiveness and minerality of this terroir yield a straightforward, powerful Pinot Noir, endowing this cuvée with elegance and aromatic complexity. After a minimum of six years of aging in the cellars and a light dosage of six grams per liter, this limited-quantity cuvée is ready for tasting.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, aged for 6 years in our cellars.
Dosage: 6gr/l.

Color:

Pale yellow with golden highlights.

Nose:

Beautiful notes of candied citrus and apricot, dried fruit and pastry, followed by vanilla, toast and toasted notes.

Palate:

A clean opening on the palate, provided by the structure and aromatic power of Pinot Noir, a fine balance that finishes with a certain tension.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Comté or aged Gouda, a dessert made with bitter chocolate.
