Wine:

The 2021 Red Syrah Domaine des Gardes IGP Collines Rhodaniennes is a pure Syrah from sandy soils, aged exclusively in vats, with a strong northern character. The result is a fresh, deep and intense juice, perfectly ripe, with notes of violets and black fruits. It's an elegantly infused juice, pure and fresh, certainly still very young, with delicate tannins, but already so irresistible! A complete success at this price level. Rated 92/100 by the Comité.

Vinification:

Hand harvested and totally destemmed, traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks to preserve the fruit and freshness.

Color:

Bright red with purplish reflections.

Nose:

Perfumes of black fruits haloed by delicate notes of violet.

Palate:

Of great purity, this wine releases with elegance a fresh, deep and infused wine with fine tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Mediterranean cuisine, spicy dishes, cold cuts.
