Wine:
Predominantly made from Pinot Noir, the Brut Grand Cru Champagne is the first wine of the House. But it is an elaborate one, the result of meticulous work, without haste, polished by time. A first maturing on lees of one year, as it used to be done in the past, a complete vinification in barrels and a bottling without filtration provide a perfect density and freshness to this aperitif champagne. A full, creamy, and harmonious wine, the most generous and classic signature of the Egly-Ouriet house.Vinification:
Hand harvested, vinified with indigenous yeasts and in oak barrels. Long maturation on lees for 50 months before disgorging. Unfiltered wine. Main base 2017 supplemented with the 2016 and 2015 harvest.Dosage 2gr/l.

From now on
The embodiment of Champagne excellence, with 4 stars in the RVF Guide (Revue du Vin de France)—the ultimate recognition—Egly-Ouriet has earned its reputation through uncompromising standards. Spanning nearly 17 hectares, including 10 hectares classified as Grand Cru (Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Verzenay) and two hectares of Premier Cru in the Vrigny terroir, Francis Egly has created a legacy few houses can match, now working alongside his son Charles and daughter Clémence. The balance and finesse of their wines are unparalleled, setting a benchmark for classicism in Champagne.
From the very first cuvée in the range, the style impresses with integrity, blending strength and finesse while showcasing the mastery of Pinot Noir. These are full-bodied champagnes, crafted from very old vines, fermented in barrels, and aged for extended periods to mature and reveal their full potential at the perfect moment. Purity, nobility, and complexity consistently shine through with remarkable regularity.
