Wine:

From the prestigious terroir of La Landonne, the 2020 red Côte-Rôtie Terrasses delivers a rich aromatic expression in a deep hue, showcasing the classic Syrah of the northern Rhône Valley with notes of graphite, menthol, black pepper, and smoke. The wine is dense, full-bodied and rich, with firm yet supple tannins that predict a serious aging potential of at least ten years. It meets and even exceeds the expectations for a great wine from this appellation. Rated 95/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, 30% destemmed, aged on fine lees for 18 to 20 months in barrels, 20% of which are new.

Intense, brilliant red.

Nose:

Classic Syrah character, highlighted by notes of graphite, menthol, eucalyptus, Sichuan pepper, and the smoky, bacon-like qualities so typical of a Côte-Rôtie.

Palate:

Dense and full-bodied, this cuvée delivers a richly layered profile, with firm yet approachable tannins and impressive aromatic complexity.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C
