Wine:

Exceptionally indulgent, the 2023 Red Brouilly showcases elegance and finesse in this beautifully ripe vintage. The pure and fresh nose is highlighted by notes of cherry syrup. On the palate, the ripe and tightly-knit juice offers impressive concentration and density, framed by fine tannins. It’s already drinking wonderfully. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in 13kg crates. 90% destemmed and 10% whole grapes. Aged 50% in foudres and 50% in stainless steel vats for 6 months.

Intense, brilliant garnet red.

Nose:

Powerful aromas of blackberry, blueberry and syrup cherry mixed with toasty notes.

Palate:

Well-balanced from the outset in the palate, with supple, velvety tannins and a long, pleasant aftertaste.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Duck breast with grilled bell pepper, rib of beef with thyme, pork with pepper.
