In San Gimignano, one of the most picturesque villages in Tuscany, the octogenarian Elisabetta Fagiuoli defies time and continues to showcase her talent at her Montenidoli estate. She has been crafting wines of "truth" since 1965, when she took over several abandoned plots and laid the foundations for her vineyard.
Her adoration for Burgundy is clearly reflected in her cuvées, and the connection becomes apparent through the finesse and sculptural complexity of each of her wines. Through careful observation, patience, and time, she has unveiled the great terroirs of Tuscany and captured the hearts of wine lovers with the emotions her wines evoke.
