Wine:

The 2022 Sancerre Red Mainbré presents perfectly ripened aromas of morello cherry and red cherry, delivered with remarkable finesse and vibrant tension. This Pinot Noir offers a fresh and pure expression, free of any jammy character. Instead, it showcases bright flavors with subtle hints of fine oak. A beautifully balanced and flavorful red, it is approachable now yet exemplifies the Loire Valley's renowned elegance and depth. Awarded 94/100 by the Selection Committee, this wine is a true standout.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in crates, macerated for around 3 weeks, aged for 18 months, including 12 months in various containers (wooden vats, concrete eggs, 500-litre and 228-litre barrels).

Bright, clear ruby.

With ripe, perfectly balanced aromas of morello cherry and black cherry, highlighted by subtle hints of oak.

Palate:
