Wine:

Faithful representation of all the assets of the Mediterranean terroir, the 2019 Red IGP Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône Les Grands Carmes is yet another success on this very beautiful vintage. This wine has subtle and complex aromas, oscillating between garrigue, olive and fresh fruits and a concentrated, intense and rich structure marked by smooth tannins. A beautiful bottle to keep for some years in the cellar or to enjoy immediately with a thick pork chop or a lamb shoulder confit. An amazing bottle, not to be missed!

Vinification:

Hand harvested and destemmed, aged on fine lees for 14 months in small oak barrels.

Color:

Intense and deep purple red.

Nose:

Aromas of fresh fruit with hints of olives and garrigue.

Palate:

Fresh and intense, this wine with elegant tannins has a concentrated, complex and beautiful structure.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Stew, grilled beef rib, thick pork chop, lamb shoulder confit, simmered meats.
