Wine:
With beautiful ripeness, the 2023 Red Saumur-Champigny La Paterne showcases the signature graphite notes of Cabernet Franc, wrapped in intense black fruit aromas and perfectly integrated ageing. Blackberry and blueberry lead the way in a smooth, expansive, and velvety structure, supported by refined tannins and impressive depth. The graphite character reappears on the long, elegant finish, reinforcing its identity. This wine has great ageing potential (6 to 8 years), but if opened young, it must be well decanted to reveal its full complexity. A true expression of Saumur-Champigny.
