The 2022 red Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a wine with great potential, to be aged quietly in the cellar and will open up in the next two years. At this youthful stage, it reveals itself with floral notes, stone fruits, in a profile that is quite warm, typical of Châteauneuf. The tannic structure, of beautiful purity, confirms its ability to age. Unbeatable at this price level. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Traditional vinification, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.

Color:

Bright, intense red with violet highlights.

Nose:

Floral and fruity, with aromas of red stone fruit and a subtle woody touch.

Palate:

Juicy and delicious, with a velvety tannic structure and pure, elegant fruit.

Temperature:

Decant before serving, between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Saddle of rabbit with mushrooms, roast squab with pan-fried heirloom vegetables, filet mignon with pepper.
