The 2022 Red Chinon Vieilles Vignes is a concentrated, well-ripened expression of Cabernet Franc that benefits from at least an hour of decanting to fully reveal its aromas. Notes of black fruit and a hint of graphite are complemented by a subtle touch of oak, adding depth and complexity. On the palate, it shows impressive structure with no signs of over-ripeness, despite the warmth of the vintage.
