Wine:

A pure white wine in the purest Boxler style, the 2020 Alsace Pinot Blanc Réserve enchants with its fresh floral fragrances mingling with subtle notes of white pepper. It's a perfectly mature Pinot Blanc, full of finesse and persistence, sapid, elegant and crisp, delivering an ample, juicy frame punctuated by fine citrus notes. A fine wine, ready to drink now or over the next 3 to 5 years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. 60-year-old vines, around Niedermorschwihr and Turckeim, granite soil. Whole-cluster pressing, static settling, no thermoregulation, 2 to 6-month fermentation. Aged on lees for 11 months. Natural residual sugar: 2 g/l (dry wine)

Fresh and enchanting, with a floral aromatic profile, underlined by notes of white pepper.

Palate:

Refreshing, this Pinot Blanc cuvée presents lively, intense citrus flavors, delivering a perfectly ripe juice with finesse and sapidity on crisp fruit.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Oysters, shellfish, sea bream ceviche with citrus zest, grilled red mullet fillet, sauerkraut from the sea.
