Wine:

The 2017 red Saint-Julien by VALAP is a pure delight. Produced from the Château's young vines, it combines a perfect density of fruit with noble tannins that coat the palate. Both harmonious and powerful, this wine perfectly expresses the nobility of the place. The vintage's crisp tannins add a further dimension to the whole, which is perfectly exhilarating.

Vinification:

Hand harvested from September 13 to October 4. Traditional vinification, aged in oak barrels.

An intense red with garnet hues.

Nose:

Expressive and complex, with beautiful aromas of red and black fruits underlined by delicate spicy notes.

Palate:

Ample and generous, the tannic structure of great finesse reveals a perfectly integrated, delicate woodiness on a long, persistent finish.
