The 2018 Red Bordeaux Supérieur Le B by Maucaillou is unanimously seductive with its fresh aromas of fruit, spice and macerated black fruit. It is a dense and seductive Bordeaux wine, with pure flavors of fruit. A wine that will impress any Bordeaux amateur with its balance and style. A best-seller of our Valap members, for sure!

Vinification:

Mechanical harvesting. Traditional vinification by grape variety in thermo-regulated vats, pre-fermentation maceration at 22°C, daily pumping over during the alcoholic fermentation under temperature control between 26 and 28°C, vatting for about 3 weeks after the beginning of the alcoholic fermentation.

Color:

Deep purple red.

Nose:

Aromas of macerated black fruits with hints of spices and graphite.

Palate:

Gourmet and full-bodied, this wine combines purity, density and generosity with grace.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.
