Wine:

Highlighted by a luminous Merlot, the 2018 red Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Etoiles de Mondorion exudes its natural elegance with a nose that is delicately oaked, richly fruity, and subtly refined. This aromatic palette is elegantly woven throughout the wine, featuring a spicy touch enveloped in a lovely, velvety, and well-balanced body. A delightful Saint-Emilion that's ready to enjoy, with a smooth and silky finish.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Total de-stemming, alcoholic fermentation in concrete vats with automatic temperature control. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Color:

Intense, brilliant red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

Delicate, woody aromas of red berries with a hint of smoke.

Palate:

Fresh and elegant, the supple structure of this cuvée reveals subtle peppery notes accompanied by fine tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Herb-crusted leg of lamb, spiced duck breast, sautéed prime rib of beef with shallot confit, aged Saint-Nectaire fermier cheese.
