We have always expressed our deep attachment to this estate in Castillon.

An exceptional artisan, Thierry Valette brings forth wines of unique smoothness and elegance. His terroir, composed of asteriated limestone, rivals that of the Premier Crus of Saint-Emilion. In fact, at the end of the 19th century, the vineyard of Clos was classified as "Premier Cru" of Saint-Emilion! This distinctive terroir, combined with rare winemaking intelligence and biodynamic farming, produces wines of exceptional character. Their stylistic rigor, silky tannins, and flair have few equivalents.

Another merit: Clos Puy Arnaud does not inflate prices or boast grandiose facilities. Away from the classified paths of Bordeaux, Thierry Valette crafts wines of fruit and vitality that age gracefully.
