Château Angélus shines in France and abroad like never before! Over the past 20 years, the Château has produced a grandiose series of modern, dense wines of great formal perfection. No other château has come so far in the Bordeaux hierarchy in such a short space of time.
In the wake of the estate's evolution, Carillon d'Angélus - which had been considered a second wine since its birth in 1987 - has recently become a separate wine, made from specific, well-defined plots and vinified in a separate cellar. Revealing notes of raspberry and precious wood, Carillon d'Angélus 2023 achieves a fine feat in this vintage. The palate is supple and harmonious. The tannins are elegant and sapid.
Hubert de Boüard's work, his commitment and his determination to make his cru shine at the top are at the root of this enviable position. A constant quest for excellence is underway, and this Carillon 2023 seems determined to embody it more than any other.
Carillon d'Angélus, following in the footsteps of its predecessor!
