Wine:

Born on the largest premier cru climate of the appellation, on sandy and rocky soils, the 2017 red Beaune Grèves 1er Cru delivers itself with elegance. Delicate, it unfolds a silky, fragrant, balanced wine. A very beautiful classic that begins to reveal itself after some aging, to be reserved at the table with roasted poultry or roast veal with thyme for example.

Vinification:

Hand harvested and destemmed, vinification in open wooden vats under controlled temperature, extraction by twice daily punching down, malolactic fermentation carried out.
Aged for 16 months in oak barrels.

Color:

Bright red with beautiful intensity and violet reflections.

Nose:

Bouquet of red fruits and morello cherries.

Palate:

Elegant and perfumed, this wine offers a silky, well-balanced and delicate palate.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roast veal with thyme, roast poultry and its juice, cheeses.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2033.
