Wine:

A Selection Committee favorite, rated 93/100, the 2022 Red Marsannay Vieilles Vignes is an undeniable charmer. Its pure, delicately perfumed nose reveals the elegance of Pinot Noir, with the freshness of whole-cluster fermentation and a refined kirsch cherry note. On the palate, the wine remains beautifully balanced, embracing the ripeness of the vintage while maintaining finesse and drinkability. A touch of subtle oak enhances the structure without overpowering the fruit. A stunning bottle to enjoy over the next 6 to 8 years.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification in stainless steel vats, 50% whole grapes. Aged for 12 months in barrels, 20% of which are new, then for 6 months in stainless steel vats. Unfiltered. Bottled in March 2024.

Bright carmine red of good intensity.

Nose:

Pure and infused, expressing the freshness of the whole harvest, with notes of kirsch-flavoured cherries.

Palate:

Delicate and fresh, this wine perfectly reflects the ripeness of the vintage. The palate is elegant and well-balanced, with a refined structure and a subtle touch of oak that enhances without overpowering.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Beef cheek terrine, roast veal with thyme, roast Bresse chicken.

Cellar aging:

From today until 2032.
