Co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Aubert de Villaine also owns a stunning estate in the Côte Chalonnaise, entrusted to his nephew, Pierre de Benoist, for both management and winemaking.
With the same rigorous vineyard work and attention to detail as on the legendary Vosne-Romanée terroirs, he crafts a graceful, precise white wine of remarkable finesse. His secret remains unknown, but year after year, the magic happens.
One thing is certain: this estate has truly mastered the art of Aligoté.
