Wine:

Magistral! The 2020 Red Corton Grand Cru Les Bressandes delivers pure, deep fruit of superb thickness, channeled by its terroir's distinctive foundation, whose sovereign balance would convert even the most skeptical of Corton crus. Sumptuous from start to finish, it offers itself between black fruits and spices, with great volume on the palate and solid but perfectly ripe tannins. Leave it in the cellar for at least a decade and double the time to get the best out of it. Rated 98/100 by RVF.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Whole-harvest, sulfite-free fermentation in truncated-cone wooden vats for 15 days to 3 weeks. Aged on lees for 15 to 18 months in 228-liter oak barrels. Bottled on the estate.
Parcels of 1.4535 ha. Vines on average 40 years old. Soil type: clay-limestone. Soil worked entirely by horse.
